Once again we had the pleasure of working with Audrina Bigos, Fox News Charlotte. This time around we discussed the growing concern over office bullies and how this behavior can impact the workplace. This is a real problem for some people as an estimated 50+ Million workers have acknowledged they have encountered some type of bullying at work. So what can we do? Be proactive, let employees know right away that a positive and professional behavior is expected and that each co-worker should be treated with respect. Foster a team environment at all times and keep a close eye on any conflicts that may arise, always keeping an open door policy. From a mangers standpoint be prepared to step in and handle these type of issues swiftly, again promoting a positive workplace built on respect.
