Facebook continues to work on updating their platforms and supposedly making it more users friendly we will see more changes taking place this month. I know that it seems you just began to get use to changes the Facebook networking site. You would think it will stop for a while, but that isn’t the way with any technology. What changes are you facing now?

Facebook has continued to change somewhat since timeline was put in place as can be seen in October and November. For example in October 2012 the built-in/like-follow options were set in place and stopped the use of any custom open graph like and follow. This was only part of the change in October. November had its set of changes that everyone’s still trying to get used to as well. Almost every month there are changes, but not every change affects everyone the same.

December 2012 again brought changes to Facebook. They changed how you previously uploaded photos to your site. By calling it a drag and drop program they seem to hope that they can make everyone comfortable by leaving them feeling that it would be more user friendly. Privacy also continues to be on the forefront of everyone’s mind as far as how it’s being addressed.

Changes can be good, but they can also cause people stress and anxiety when they are used to doing things one way and then all the sudden it doesn’t work the same anymore. It means that everyone has to keep up with the changes to be able to keep using Facebook. This can get to be a problem for people who use Facebook as part of their social media marketing plan as well.

The mobile Facebook app have changed so that it is more in line with the desktop version making it easy to access and use for those who always seem to be on the go. According to the Financial Review more than six hundred million people are using Smartphones in order to keep up with friends and family. It only makes sense that the mobile Facebook app would be brought up to speed for users. A lot of mobile users appear to like the chat function that has been built into the app itself. Photo Sync is part of the change to the mobile apps program. This allows a person to upload one or many photos right from their phone to their timeline. This makes it much easier and faster to share photos all the photos you have been taking with your smartphone.

Facebook’s status as a premier social media networking site isn’t going to change any time soon even with all the updates and tweaks. It is important that you keep up with these changes each month in order to stay on top of what is happening. This is especially true for those that use Facebook as part of their business networking and marketing tools. Face it, we are a people who love technology, and anything that makes our life easier and allows us to get out to more people is worth the stress we may feel when dealing with such change.
