Managing a personal Pinterest account and one for Posse can be a little confusing at some points. When I’m on my mobile phone I am logged into my personal Pinterest account and when I am on my computer I am usually logged into the Posse Pinterest account. I found myself finding things that I would like to Pin onto the Posse Pin Boards while I was logged in on my mobile phone. Sadly, logging in and out on both devices is just not worth the hassle so I usually have to pass up that Pin and hope to find it later on my PC.
I was organizing some of the Posse Pin Boards the other day and noticed a new feature that brought me so much delight. It was the ability to add another pinner to the board (bottom of the picture on the right). I started typing in my name and it just popped up. I logged into my personal account and I had an invitation waiting for me to join another Board. I added myself as a pinner to every single Board that Posse has. So now I can Pin to Posse’s Pinterest account while being on my mobile phone, logged into my account, and I can do it from pretty much anywhere, anytime.
In amazement of the convenience that was brought on by this feature, I started thinking of other ways to use it. Not everyone manages a Pinterest account as part of their job (I am SO lucky). Then I started to think about my sister’s wedding that she is planning and how it would be helpful to have a board that her, my other sister, my mother, and I could all contribute ideas to for her wedding. This could go for any event that you are planning. If you would like the input of others to plan anything and you’re actively on Pinterest, this is a really great tool to get the maximum amount of creativity possible into the event. People could also use this feature if they have friends that don’t live near them. They could all be able to Pin to one board interesting things that they want to share with their friends.
The possibilities of what one can do with this feature are endless. Can you think of any others?
